Who is responsible for your data
John Akinmade, trading as AQE, based in the United Kingdom, is the data controller for the information described here. Questions or requests: john@akinmade.co.uk.
What we collect directly
When you use AQE, we collect:
- Your assessment answers. The information you enter about your organisation, your AI deployment, and who is accountable for it, used to generate your qualification certificate.
- Your email address. Used at checkout and to reply if you contact us. Your certificate itself is not emailed to you; see below.
There is no account and no login, so we do not build up an ongoing profile of you beyond what is needed to generate a given certificate.
How your certificate is delivered
Unlike some tools that email your report, AQE generates your Qualification Certificate and Evidence Book directly in your browser as a download once payment is confirmed. We do not send your certificate by email, and we do not use a third-party email delivery service to transmit it.
Payment: handled by Stripe, not by us
Payment is processed directly by Stripe, our payment provider. We do not see, receive, or store your card details at any point. Stripe may pass us confirmation that payment succeeded, together with basic transaction information such as the amount and a reference number. Stripe has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your payment details.
Who else sees your information
We use a small number of service providers to actually run AQE. None of them are permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

How long we keep it
Your assessment answers are held temporarily on our server only for as long as needed to generate your certificate and to handle any follow-up query you raise about it. We do not use your answers for marketing, and we do not sell or share them with anyone outside the providers listed above.
Cookies and this website
The AQE website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves your browser contacting Google's servers. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask us to:
- show you what information we hold about you
- correct anything that's inaccurate
- delete your information, where we're not required to keep it for another legal reason
- explain how a particular piece of information is used
